A trip from Sapa to Mu Cang Chai in North Vietnam

Introduce of Sapa, Mu Cang Chai

This journey are very beautiful with many landscapes of Northern forest in Vietnam. From Sapa, cross away mountain passes, thick forest and foggy river. Observing many big valleys with the green of terrace field in Mu Cang Chai. On the way, the car will stop for you to have many wonderful picture with the wildlife landscape.

Standing there then breathing a deep breath to refresh your hot atmosphere on your mind. Not only beautiful scenery in Sapa, there are many ethnic people with colorful costumes here always waves your hand and smiling with you in Mu Cang Chai. Moreover, Mu Cang Chai are famous about the green terrace field.

The first night on the train from Hanoi to Lao Cai

The tour guide of us will meet you at 20:00 at your hotel then move to Hanoi train station to take a night train to Lao Cai. Sleep on the train.

The first day at Lao Cai – Muong Hoa Valley – Lech Village – Thanh Kim Village – Sapa

The train arrives Lao Cai at 6:15 AM. From here, you will pick by bus then move to Sapa and have the breakfast on the way. After that, at 9:30 AM, the bus will go far away from Sapa. Following the mountain pass by side the mountain range come to the valley. The magnificent scenery of huge valleys, high mountain with river fog, terrace field, waterfalls and stream of water, etc.

Getting out of the main road and having a short trek to visit some local village of ethnic people like Su Pan of Black H’mong ethnic, Ta Van of Zay ethnic, Thanh Kim of Tay ethnic, etc. Exchanging the culture with ethnic people to understand more about their lifestyle and taste some of local foods. They will take you to observe many good landscapes on their village. On the late afternoon, we will back to Sapa hotel and have a night on Sapa town.

The second day in Sapa – Love Waterfall – Tram Ton Pass – Than Uyen – Mu Cang Chai

Waking up early, having a breakfast and leaving Sapa to reach Mu Cang Chai which popular about wonderful terraced fields. We will get through the Tram Ton Pass (Cabin to Fansipan) to touch the fresh and cool air for your lung of Love Waterfall. The car will stop at Muong Kim, Na Kim and Muong Khoa village with colorful costumes of ethnic people. In the mid afternoon, we arrive Mu Cang Chai and visit some of village like Black Thai Village, Kim Noi Village.

One of them will be a host for our today. Following their instruction, we can see the horizontal of terraced field that can touch the sky, local people harvest and plants on terrace fields. They are very friendly and always smile with us.

Local market of ethnic people

Vistiting there all day, on the evening, we have a dinner with local ethnic people by the local dishes. In the night, we surround at a fire to have a conversation then overnight on a homestay.

Third day: Mu Cang Chai – Hua Khat Village – Tu Le

Wake up and have breakfast at homestay then move to Hua Khat village. This village belongs to Hmong ethnic, enjoying the nice day with amazing scenery of photo from nature like rice paddy, green of field and local house of ethnic people.

Keep going to the main road then seating on a car and moving to the Cao Pha Pass then visit the bee-growing farm. You can see how they harvest the honey bee from millions of bee. Don’t forget to buy a honey if you have a demand. Arrives Tu Le, checking the hotel and stay a rest here.

The final day: Tu Le – Muong Lo – Hanoi

Having breakfast at Muong Lo Hotel, fasten the seat bell on the car then moving to Hanoi. On the way, we will stop and visit at some of beautiful landscapes of wildlife natural.

Meeting a Thai and Dzao ethnic people on the way than having lunch by local food with them. At 16:00, we appear in Hanoi, the bus will take you to your hotel. The tour ended.
